Cashew Nuts: The Global Favorite for Health and Industry

The cashew is the most global of nuts — and at Walnuts Turkey, the one where we are most explicit about origin. We do not grow cashews in Türkiye; nobody does. We source them honestly from the world's best origins and add value through grading, quality control, and reliable supply.

A creamy, versatile staple

Cashews bring a buttery, creamy texture that works across the menu: snacking and retail packs, dairy alternatives (cashew milk, butter, and cheese), savoury cooking and sauces, and confectionery. That versatility is why they sit in almost every food manufacturer's bill of materials.

Grades that decide price and use

Cashew quality is spoken in W-grades — the count of whole white kernels per pound. W180 is the largest and most premium; W210, W240, W320, W450 step down in size and price. Splits and pieces (SW, LWP, SWP) are the economical choice where whole kernels are not required. Specifying the right grade is the single biggest cost lever on a cashew order.

Honest sourcing, real value

We source cashews from India, Vietnam, and West Africa, grade them to international standards, and supply in vacuum tins (the 22.68 kg industry standard) and cartons with a Certificate of Analysis per lot. Being a supplier, not a grower, is the point: we match origin and grade to your spec and volume.

Walnuts Turkey supplies graded cashews alongside Turkish-origin hazelnuts, pistachios, and walnuts. Request a cashew quote.

Frequently asked questions

Are cashews grown in Türkiye?

No — cashews are not grown in Türkiye. We source them honestly from the world's leading origins (India, Vietnam, and West Africa) and grade, quality-check, and supply them for export.

What do cashew grades like W240 and W320 mean?

The W-number is the count of whole white kernels per pound — W180 is the largest and most premium, W450 smaller. Lower numbers mean bigger kernels and higher prices; splits and pieces are more economical.

What are cashews used for?

Snacking, dairy alternatives (cashew milk, butter, cheese), cooking and sauces, and confectionery and bakery — their creamy texture makes them exceptionally versatile.
